Westbury opened its doors to the homeless for two nights a week over the coldest 12 weeks of the year.
This activity was inspired and coordinated by Haringey Churches' Winter Shelter who organised 14 like minded churches to provide a shelter for homeless people in the borough.
Each church provides a hot evening meal, warm bed and breakfast the next morning and "sign posts" homeless guests to services that will give them options to help break the cycle of homelesseness.
